Onshore flow will ease today as a weak surface ridge shifts inland and a broad surface low drops southward in the offshore and coastal waters. A weak front will cross the waters midday Friday into Friday afternoon. A vertically stacked trough trailing the front will move onshore during the day on Saturday with relatively little impact in terms of wind. A weak surface ridge will cross the waters Saturday night into Sunday before another frontal system reaches the area Sunday night and Monday with potential headlines for the coastal waters. Coastal seas look to remain below 10 feet through the period. 27 (Issued: 849 PM PDT Thu Jun 4 2026 by NOAA)

for those wondering about Gordon's today. lots of whitecaps on the outside, some starting on the inside. It looks ok right now for 6M wing. I'm heading out on a 6M kite - foiling.

Not sure how many more of these "best session of my life" Chicama sessions I can take from Guidedbyvoices.  Its like seeing a buddy fall in love with an impossibly beautiful woman and knowing its never going to work out.  He'll be so uninspired by Clover Point when he's back, I see him selling everything and moving to Peru.

Jericho Flights of Spring had both X foiling  and X Monohull classes and starts at the event.  iQFoiler Daniel Solodchenko (out of WVYC ?) beat out the WAZP fleet to capture that tittle .  While Hollyburn sailors on their WAZP foilers took 2nd and 3rd place  ( Ryler & Braxton).   It's neat to see different foiling classes duking it out in some marginal 6- 12kt wind conditions.  Some wingers registered but few if any showed up on the startline.   Not enough wind I guess.    The X mono class was taken by Travis and Jingmi on their RS400 easily beating out the RS800 skiff fleet with superb upwind performance. Only 2 old school Windsurfers were in the fleet (67 & 74yo) with us both using cruising rigs from 5.7 - 7m RAF sails.  It was light winds but great fun and a pleasure to race at Jericho once again..   A credit to Jericho's  RC , Safety and Mark set team.

Holy Windoc. You turned a corner. I didn’t know you were so talented with poetic prose.

I just entered the wrong date for a log. Can I change it?

There should be an edit button at the top right of the log: https://bigwavedave.ca/forums/sailinglog/list/common

Thats nice to know.   Does it work with old logs too?   I've often wanted to lookup old logs, not necessarily to edit but to reflect.

Yes you can edit old logs or view them. It's on my to do list to make some kind of search tool for the sailing logs.

Can't find a drop down tab that gets you to that link above D, nor the Edit button (which I presume will bring up a calendar ).  But I see your hoping to  work on it or a search tool which would be cool.

Okay I found the Edit button after logging in , clicking the link above and scrolling to a prior post.     Thanks   Easier searching would be great.   Cheers

Logs - Latest Session Logs puts you into the Group Log page, then there's a Personal Log pick on the top right just above the logs, which will show you all your logs, reminisce to your hearts content

Thanks Robin..  After a few Chrome "Ah snap" error messages the Personal Log page finally popped up.  And the edit button too for typo's and date corrections..
