ISO Axis Ultrashort Advance+
Anyone have a black ultrashort advance+ they want to sell? I’d consider a crazy short advance+ or short advance+ also.
Cheers

Re: Wanted: 105litres freewave board
I have a Fanatic Move 95L 2005 and a Roberts Course Slalom 9'4" ~95-100L 1997.
The Move is a wider freewave type board. The Roberts is more of a hard railed no-nose style slalom board.

Re: GPS Tracks - Strava instructions
Steps to upload a Strava gpx to BWD.ca (works with free version of Strava):
On your watch open Strava, and start a kitesurfing activity
In settings it helps to turn off auto-pause
Sail your guts out
finish and save the session recording
check the Strava app or website for the session to ...

Re: Windfoil/Wingfoil compatibility
Yeah fuselage length and geometry are different windfoil to wingfoil. Not only is the fuse typically longer, the front foil is mounted further forward from the mast to accommodate both an aft mast mount on most windfoil boards and to lift the extra weight of the rig.

Re: GPS Tracking how to's
I use the https://waterspeedapp.com/ app on either my watch or phone. It has lots of water sport features built-in and can export a gpx for import to bwd. I pay $17 a year for it. The export feature is a paid feature. Full guide is here: https://windisgood.com/forums/topic/10245.html

Re: Wing Rescue
The last wing I rescued had the leash attached to the wing using a lark's head knot. The lark's head must have worked loose because the leash isn't under constant tension. Don't trust the lark!

For axis, I just order direct from their website. It is shipped from San Fran. Then I use seawings from Blaine.

Bring a backup light/battery, and maybe a strobe in case a rescue is needed!

Re: GPS Tracks
Hey Tsawwassen,
I use the stock band and wear it under my wetsuit mostly.
Works ok underneath. Heartrate works better that way too. Probably need to turn off fall protection!! Haven't tried the protective energy shield feature yet. Maybe Sunday?

Hey Dave,
I have 2 pair of new clips that I ordered for my x6's that don't fit if you still need them.
Cheers,
Mark

Re: GPS Tracking how to's
I just pause and upload a day's worth. Less juggling of gpx files! Also the track is matched to a log by date but not time of day, so multiple logs and tracks on the same day is a bit more work to match up the sailing log IDs. Can be done, but more juggling!
Cheers,
Mark
