Hello! Does anyone have any suggestions / comments concerning windsurfing on Cowichan Lake for a fairly novice windsurfer? Thinking of heading that direction in a couple weekends.

I've sailed in a few spots on the lake. Most of the lake will get at least a bit of a breeze - enough for learning. If you're after a bit more wind, launch from the campground above the old mill - Pine Point (?). The wind funnels through the gap there and seems a bit stronger than further downwind. Nice beach launch too. You'll have to endure about 15 minutes of nasty logging road to get there so be prepared.
