    2nd attempt to cross English Bay back to Hollyburn from Jericho. Carried VHF CH16 & 20lbs of safety junk and food on the board nose .. It slowed me down but kept the longboard (with non retractable dagger) from railing . Anyone remember Windsurfing 1970s???? It was a nice crossing though minorly nerve racking as warnings of SE gusts to 25 or 30 were posted. Carried No harness either with the 5.7 Slalom sail, so very old school and no shipping channel traffic to deal with.
