    Text from Snapper last night drawing me out of my post surgical hibernation to join him for a SE session at the mouth of Nanoose Bay Wednesday morning. Arrived to mellow shore conditions with lots of action about 500M out. A couple good gusts and onwards to the good stuff with mixed chop and swell and plenty of whitewater. The rain intensified about an hour in as well as a noticeable ramp up in the wind rendering my 4.2 easily overpowered. Snapper was happily cruising about on his 3.6 but suffering from reduced vision from the driving rain and we both eventually ended the session. Great to be back and looking forward to a great summer!
