| Details | Arrived at 9am to The Pope doing some pushups in the parking lot, yup a bit weird but it's the Pope so do I dare say anything....a lifetime in hell....I don't think so. So I kept my mouth shut and gave him a good fist pump and said Good Morning. Anyways, it looked similar to yesterday 8-12kts with some holes. We both rigged big, 6.0m for me and 5.5m for him. I kept on the 800(925cm2) foil as I thought there was enough. We both headed out and he was up before me but I was up 20 seconds later and followed him out to sea. The first 45 mins were great but then it lightened up and we both came off the foil, he went in and I schlogged for 10 mins, no joy so I headed in as well. We both said Hi to Ruup-Doggy in the parking lot who was playing solitaire out of the back of his Man-Van. Yup, again weird but, again, I said nothing. The Pope left saying he had some papal duties to carry out. I grabbed the binoc's and saw some ripples out towards Jemmy Jones. So I put on the 999(1125cm2) and fattened up the 6.0m Flyer and headed back out, Ruup said he's coming too but had to rig up. i got out and within a minute or 2 I was up and flying in 8-13kts but mostly 10-12. I foiled around with a laser from RVYC but Ruup decided to work on screwing his board, whatevs. It started to get a bit lighter and I saw a gust that would take me right into the boat launch so I took it and ended my session. Chatted about retirement and summer foiling with Ruupy for a bit and then headed back to work. ugh! Retirement cannot come soon enough. The Windfoil is great in very light winds, don't have to be on my knees (cause they're old and broken from 30 years of rugby) and getting back in only a couple knots is easy enough. Hoping for some stronger Winging winds this weekend.
